my successful on overclocking

AMD cpu was a very well performance on overclocking. so to anybody who like and love on overclocking, let's grab AMD cpu.. they will give you the best experience on overclocking.. even that.. sometimes they got lack too.. like what people call, nothing were perfect in this world.. but.. it's just "sometimes".. depends on how you overclock your CPU and your luck..

tips on overclocking..

1. get enough knowledge about overclock.
2. know the benefit and the risk of overclocking.
3. prepared the better cooling system for the best overclocking experience.
4. know your CPU potential on overclocking.
5. testing your overclocking stability.
6. get ready for your successful overclocking or your hardware died..

here.. i would like to show off my successful overclocking on my system.. even it was not the greatest.. but it was great.. and i really like it..

my stock system..

1. AMD Phenom II X2 550BE 3.1ghz
2. Asus M4A77TD-PRO
3. 2GB Kingston KVR1333 DDR3
4. ATI Radeon HD4670
5. 500GB WD caviar blue HDD
6. standard chasis with 500watt PSU..

i'm totally setting my overclocking via my BIOS setup.. as i know.. overclocking via BIOS was the best way to overclock your CPU..

to overclocking my CPU. i need to raised up the FSB(front side BUS) number.. luckily.. i got Phenom II x2 550BE(black edition).. the black edition of CPU was meant that i have option to overclock my CPU.. black edition was have unlocking on the CPU multiplier.. so.. even by raising up FSB or multiplier.. i'll got to overclock my CPU..

overclocking CPU will make our CPU become hot where it can make your CPU BURN!!.. so.. cooling system for CPU should be good or better..by replaced my stock CPU cooler with Cooler Master Hyper TX-3.. i got a very good number on temperature..

i also put a heatspreader to my memory.. it was to protect my memory from overheating and then BURN!! when we're on overclocking by raising up the FSB number.. memory will be raised up too..

i'm using speedfan to monitor my CPU temp... prime 95, and OCCT for stability test..
i also using CPU-Z to monitor my CPU clock, memory clock and timings.. by using CPU-Z.. we can see the detail of our hardware.. type of motherboard, chipset, memory,CPU detail, and also can validate our CPU and post it to the web..

i was able to overclocked my cpu to 3.7ghz.. it was the highest i can reach this time.. by raised up the FSB to 206 and multiplier to 18..

this picture that my CPU name was as Athlon.. but was i'm on unlocking my CPU core.. about unlocking.. i'll post about it later..
thanks..

:- this was my first post..
